“The GF Mom Certified BYOC book is an amazing gluten-free party planning resource! I was first diagnosed with celiac disease at age 13 so I know how hard it is to throw a gluten-free party.

This book includes recipes, tips, guides, and awesome visuals to show what it takes to throw a fun gluten-free party with ease and a peace of mind.”

“Overall, my family and I loved our meal from Celebrates Heritage. This book is not only a great resource for families with food allergies, but is a great resource FROM a family with food allergies, which makes it even better. Whether you are a family who is new to allergy-friendly cooking, or an old pro, this is definitely a book you should have in your collection.”

“Not only is Kid Approved filled with awesome, kid-friendly recipes (pizza, chicken fingers, and donuts to name a few), it also has a bunch of helpful information that will help parents deal with birthday parties, grocery shopping, neighborhood BBQs, and the taste and consistency problems that often accompany gluten-free baking. Tiffany includes beautiful full-color pictures for every recipe, and her unique GFMomCertified spice blends and flour blend as well. It’s not just a cookbook for making easy substitutions, but one with guides and tutorials that can help even the most stressed parents create easy and family-friendly meals that will transform the way they view allergy cooking!….Overall, I’m so impressed with Tiffany’s new book. Not only is it absolutely gorgeous and filled with fantastic recipes, but it’s such a great resource for parents, or anyone else, dealing with the complications and frustrations that go along with cooking allergy-friendly. Definitely check it out!”

“…she has turned her experience into a business dedicated to helping others. The food allergy community is filled with people who want to take their struggles and learning experiences and use those to help others like them. Tiffany is a wonderful example of this, and I’m so grateful to have met her!”

Food is the social lubricant and it’s one of the smell of savoury foods that triggers good memories and author Tiffany Hinton really brings that idea to the forefront with one sentence that caught my eye“It will become your secret weapon to pull out…for those special people in your life that make you want to smile as soon as they walk in the room.”That’s what baking should really be about: memories.

This is not just a cookbook, Kid Approved is a solution guide for you to keep your child safe in a world of fun and wonder.”Right away, loved it! This describes the book perfectly. We are all so focused on what foods to avoid, what not to do when we have food allergies but Tiffany hits the nail on the head- food allergies are not about being afraid of your foods, it’s about finding out how to use the foods that you are able to eat. … That is what it’s all about and Tiffany shares that with us. I highly recommend this book to anyone that is looking for a gluten free, family-friendly cookbook. It also includes a shopping list, menus and a surprise extra at the end of the book (yeah, like I would ruin the surprise and tell you what it is!)

GF Mom Certified is such a great website filled with many recipes and great resources for anyone gluten free…This book and very easy to follow and all the recipes are fairly simple. The recipes I tested took only a few minutes of my time, perfect for busy nights! … Overall I would 100% recommend this book! All the recipes I tried were great and the directions were easy to follow.”

“I love muffins, but I think everyone can agree blueberry is the classic flavor when it comes to muffins. They’re just so tasty! I recently received a copy of Three Days To Perfection: Gluten Free European Style Without The Travel by one of my favorite bloggers GF Mom Certified. If you’ve been missing croissants this is the book for you. In this book she also provides a pastry flour recipe. I had some left over after making the croissants so I used it to make these muffins. They were easiest the lightest and fluffiest gluten free muffins I’ve ever had. In fact, I gave some to a friend and she said I should sell the muffins, they were that good! I have a feeling I will be making this flour blend in bulk from now on!”

Y’all, this cookbook is way more than a cookbook!  Tiffany inspires readers with not only easy-to-follow recipes, but also by the way she poured her heart and soul into this book by sharing her story and the struggles that brought her to where she is today. I was truly inspired and after reading it from cover to cover, I felt like I had known her forever.

In the beginning, I instantly noticed that Tiffany had a soul food section in this cookbook and my first thought as a native Southerner was, “What does this girl from Chicago know about cooking soul food?”  It turns out that she actually knows a lot about it! …  The Mom Celebrates Heritage Gluten Free cookbook is a great addition to any gf family’s collection!  I can see why it is a best seller! I can’t wait to try more recipes from this and other gf cookbooks by Tiffany Hinton, GF Mom Certified.

B.Y.O.C. is an amazing reference book for anyone throwing their first food-allergy friendly, vegan,

or gluten-free party.

Tiffany’s recipes are simple enough for the typical “from the box” baker, but the taste and presentation of all her recipes are better than
many gluten free bakeries! Vegan Vanilla Cake is perfection!”

“This book (Kid Approved) brought me back to my youth. There are recipes in here that are so simple that you can make them with your young toddler or there are more complex ones that can be made with your adolescent. I am a big believer in getting kids in the kitchen early, especially if they have allergies. This teaches them from a young age the importance of learning the art of substitution. When one has mastered this, they can eat almost anywhere or make anything.”

This book, along with Mom Certified Celebrates Heritage, has quickly become my go to books for cooking, allergy friendly ideas and substitutions and inspiration in the kitchen! I know you may be thinking okay it is a cookbook, but no it is more. I have tried many a gf cookbook and had varying degrees of success because I also have to account for dairy issues and occasionally corn sensitivities. …must say that I enjoyed the pictures and drawings in this book. It added a personal touch that many cookbooks are missing. It made it easy to see how a family would enjoy certain meals, how to let everyone help out in preparing the meals and more. Additionally if you are new to meal planning or grocery shopping for us individuals with food intolerance’s, sensitivities or allergies the grocery lists and sample menus in the back of the book are superb!

I wanted to bring something refreshing yet tasty to a memorial day celebration this year and with my husband and I living a gluten free lifestyle I picked out a wonderful Lemon Cake recipe from Gluten Free Mom Certified. It was my first time making lemon curd and frosting from scratch, I don’t bake much. Tiffany made it easy with wonderful instructions in her cookbook. The cake came out beautiful and everyone at the party enjoyed how flavorful it was. I got comments like “this is very refreshing” and “what a wonderful dessert.” I even got a bit creative and topped it with a few strawberries just to give it a polished look. I have found my new go to cookbook for tasty and gluten free deserts.

If you or someone you know is allergic to Gluten this book is a must have item in your kitchen. I am not a chef by any means but this book has the easiest recipes. She shows you how to make Gluten Free food without breaking the bank! The recipes in this book are so delicious that you will never know you are eating gluten free. Sometimes when you think of going Gluten Free you worry about sacrificing taste. Well worry no more once you have the GFMomcertified book…. So here is the skinny.. my 100% opinion. You have to pick up this book! Its not confusing at all to start implementing gluten free in your kitchen. For example, gluten free flour can be so expensive but I buy the Bisquick Gluten Free flour and just substitute it in recipes. Just changing what you use doesn’t mean you have to break the bank. My husband and I have seen major improvements with my son since going Gluten Free with him that we will continue to make it a part of our everyday.

First of all if I could have eaten the whole cake I would have. I found it really simple to make and it was the perfect blend of flavors. It had just the right amount of everything and was so moist. The frosting was not over powering but more like the perfect accent to the cake. You could truly taste everything flavor individually at points. I had to continually remind myself it was gluten free because it tasted so rich.

It has been a privilege to work with Tiffany. Her desire to make a difference is infectious! In my work as a Craniosacral therapist, I encounter autistic clients faced with food restrictions and Tiffany’s cookbook is that simple tool which can help moms change the task of “What do I cook?”

Made the WONDERFUL Spiced Pumpkin Latte cupcakes. They were moist and yummy! I used real organic butter and instead of processed/refined white sugar, I used organic coconut sugar. I love anything pumpkin so this is a keeper.

As I was looking through the book I really was excited to see a steak fajita recipe. We tried it out the other Saturday and served it with homemade guacamole and handmade corn tortillas. It was a big hit. I did substitute the rib eye the recipe called for with a flank steak we had on hand. There is a recipe for Strawberry Lemonade Cake that just sounds amazing and I would love to have that for Mother’s Day. I adore anything lemon or lime. I also really want to try making her French Onion Burgers. They sound extremely moist and delicious

Thanks for taking the time to talk with us at the expo. I appreciate what you do and your passion for it. I love meeting other writers, cooks and moms who share the same passion as I do. After buying Celebrates Heritage at the expo, I started reading it on the LONG drive home and I love it! I really love the way you took your family recipes and turned them into allergy friendly foods. That too is my goal in my blog – to recreate family favorites to enjoy! The book is beautiful as is your stories inside it. I’m happy to have found it!

I generally think Gluten-Free books are boring and the recipes are tasteless, but recently I was proven wrong. The author sent me an eBook of her cookbook to review: Kid Approved and I melted. The pictures were of her kids (absolutely adorable) cooking alongside and the pictures ofthe food and ingredients motivated me to try a few… The pictures aremouthwatering and the recipes are easy to follow. I really did enjoy this cookbook… Kid Approved is a winer!!

Gluten Free Mom Certified by Tiffany Hinton. This is the book I gave my kids. Her directions are easy enough for any 4th grader to follow andmake. My kids made her meringues with only limited help after getting meringue all over the bottom of my oven. (Don’t ask!)
